Yep, that's right. I leave early Friday morning to go see my family in Southern California and my laundry basket was getting quite full. Instead of doing it earlier, I had work and HAD to have a fabulous "date night" with Carrie, consisting of glasses of wine (thanks to a preschool parent from graduation!) and *NEW* episodes of So You Think You Can Dance?, Teen Mom and The Challenge! :) Looking back now, I totally do not regret this choice. I'm usually up this late anyways, since I can't seem to fall asleep until I'm completely exhausted, so why don't I just throw in some laundry since I'm up?!
On a different note, I realized today that in less than a month, I will be done with my job. I will have gone through 5 summers and 4 school years! Wow...how time has flown! I have seen hundreds of children throughout the years...some good, some bad...but I wouldn't change any of it! I have loved my job sooo much! I have grown as a person and an educator. Even though I am sad to leave something that has been a huge part of my life, I am looking forward to starting my Credential Program...beginning with Student Teaching on August 10th! I'll be in a classroom of 1st graders! I have yet to get in contact with the teacher, but I cannot wait to meet her! I hope we get along well and I can learn a lot from her! :)
